International Patient Relations
The International Patient Relations Department at the American Hospital Istanbul provides complete services for the patients visiting the hospital from countries outside of Turkey. International Patient Relations staff coordinates all aspects of each international patient's visit ranging from managing medical consultations and hospital admissions to travel and hotel arrangements. Our staff is committed to making international patients and their families feel comfortable during their stay.
The International Patient Relations Department at the American Hospital Istanbul provides:
Assistance with hospital admission and appointment scheduling
Coordination of all patient appointments with specialists for consultations and medical procedures;
Check-up appointments for international patients or ex-pats in Turkey
Facilitation of second opinions
Advance financial and billing arrangements, including detailed estimates
Appointments for family members who request routine and preventive medical care
Advice and assistance with home care services
Transfer to local facilities within Turkey and to international facilities
Medical assistance for local organizations within Turkey for international organizations
