Dr. Onur Erol, Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, was born in Soke in 1939. He graduated from Istanbul University Medical School in 1969. He received his speciality training on General Surgery in 1969 at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical School, and on Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 1971 at Hacettepe University Medical School. He worked in Eastern Virginia School of Medicine, Virginia; Miami University School of Medicine, Florida and Baylor College of Medicine, Texas between 1976 and 1980. He received his "Associate Professor" degree in 1977 at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He became Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 1980 at Hacettepe University Medical School. He worked as a Department Chief of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Kadir Has University Medical School between 1999 and 2006, as well as Istanbul Bilim University Medical School between 2006 and 2009. Dr. Onur Erol, Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, has been working in American Hospital, Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery since 1989.
